We operate an appointment system for all new customers to ensure we minimise waiting times and to enable us to give each new customers our undivided attention during the account opening process.
New customers should be aware that when they visit our vaults to open a new account they should allow 40 minutes to complete the account registration process.
We would ask that new customers attend promptly for their appointment because we may need to offer the appointment to other prospective customers if they are more than 10 minutes late.
We allow one additional renter at no extra charge and it is then possible to add one further renter for an additional administrative charge of £30 per renter.
Please note that, as the account holder, you will be the Primary Renter and we strongly urge you to appoint a Joint Primary Renter who will have identical rights over the box. In the event of your death, a Joint Primary Renter can take over the ownership of the box and thereby avoid administrative complications relating to Probate. It is also possible to appoint Secondary Renters who can visit the box unaccompanied but have restricted rights over the box.
No – you will need to book an appointment to open a new Agreement.
We are extremely busy with customer visits and we need to ensure that a member of our staff is allocated to you to ensure you are well looked after throughout the Agreement opening process.
To avoid disappointment we would urge all prospective customers to book an appointment in advance by calling Manchester on 0161 236 4177 or Leeds on 0113 243 2129
